Madeleine Little is an actor and theatremaker based in Brisbane. Since 2015, she has been a member of the IndelabilityArts Ensemble, co-devising the show Love Me; and co-devising and performing in Look Mum... No Hands! [The Legless Bar Years], most recently at Adelaide Fringe.
In 2018, Madeleine performed in Restless Dance Theatre's Helpmann-nominated work Intimate Space at Festival 2018. In 2017, with IndelabilityArts, Madeleine worked with Khemistry on the Queensland Government's 'All Abilities' Campaign, starring in The No Pile music video.
Madeleine is currently the Access Consultant for the Festival of Australian Student Theatre 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Drama) from Queensland University of Technology and is currently undertaking a Master of Arts (Creative Arts) through University of Southern Queensland, researching accessible theatre practice.
Madeleine participated in the Being Human and the Aesthetics of Access residency at Perth International Arts Festival 2017 (with DADAA) learning under Jenny Sealey MBE, Artistic Director of Graeae Theatre Company in the UK.
This year, Madeleine received an Arts Access Australia Meeting Place travel grant, and was also asked to speak on the Leading to the Future Panel at Meeting Place 2018 in Alice Springs.
Madeleine writes about everything, in various forms. She is a disabled artist and it is her hope to continue writing and create a larger dialogue surrounding the professional engagement of people with disability in the arts sector, and occasionally discuss the complexities of the perfect burrito.
She is also currently engaged as an arts administrator with a leading theatre organisation in Queensland.
